Protection that
moves with you.

Former special operations and intelligence professionals.
Built for those that can't afford a single misstep.
Streamlined for the offices that manage them.

What we do

Protection without
compromise.

SK1 provides a narrow range of services, deliberately. We don't dilute our capability with guard force contracts or alarm monitoring. Every engagement is led by principals from special operations and intelligence, and every program is built from scratch for the individual.

For executive offices

We were built for
the person who manages this.

Most security firms treat the executive assistant as an obstacle. They want direct access to the principal, they send contracts written in a language no one outside the industry uses, and they vanish when the billing question comes in.

We've built our entire operations model around the reality of how executive offices actually run. You manage the schedule, the contracts, the vendor relationships, and the CFO's questions, without a security background and without a roadmap.

SK1 was designed to make your job frictionless.

"You brief us once. Not every time the itinerary changes."

SK1 Operations Standard

We maintain a standing brief for every active client. Changes route to our ops line. You don't re-explain context to a new agent every trip.

Contracts

Plain-language agreements your legal team won't kick back. MSA, SOW, and NDA in a single package.

Compliance

COI and W-9 available on request. We're onboarding-ready before you ask.

Operations

24/7 direct ops line. Not a ticketing system, not a receptionist. One number, always answered.

Integration

We work with your existing scheduling tools, travel platforms, and communication preferences.

Reporting

Monthly security summaries formatted for executive review. No jargon. Distributable to your CFO.

Billing

Clean invoicing structured for your AP process. Net-30 standard. No surprise line items.

If you manage security vendors for a C-suite principal or family office, we'd like to introduce ourselves. No sales deck required.

The client journey

From first call
to standing program.

Every SK1 engagement follows the same deliberate sequence. Nothing is skipped. The structure exists because the details matter, and because your program should be built on what we've actually learned about your life, not a template we filled in with your name.

01
Initial call

A direct conversation with our managing director, not a sales associate. We ask the right questions and listen before we say anything about what we can do. You'll know within thirty minutes whether we're the right fit.

02
Threat and exposure assessment

We conduct a structured assessment of your principal's public profile, travel patterns, organizational relationships, and current security posture. This is intelligence work, not a checklist.

03
Program proposal

A written proposal specific to the assessment findings: coverage structure, staffing, operational protocols, and pricing. Plain language. No upsell footnotes.

04
Contracts and onboarding

MSA, SOW, and NDA in a single clean package. We handle the compliance documentation your office needs: COI, W-9, vendor registration. Onboarding takes one meeting and a brief.

05
The standing brief

We build a detailed principal brief: schedule patterns, preferences, household context, travel requirements, communication protocols. You provide this once. We maintain it. Every agent who touches your account has read it.

06
Operations

Coverage begins. Your ops contact is reachable 24/7 on a direct line. Changes to the schedule route to us, not back to you for re-coordination. The principal barely notices the program is running. That's the goal.

07
Monthly reporting

A concise written report: coverage summary, incidents (most months: none), threat environment notes, and any recommended program adjustments. Formatted for a principal or CFO to read in five minutes.

Why SK1

Operators who don't
look like operators.

SK1 was founded on a single premise: the best protection is invisible. Not because we hide, but because we fit. Our agents move through boardrooms, residences, and travel environments without signaling their presence to anyone who doesn't need to know.

That requires a different kind of operator. The technical skills are assumed. What separates SK1 agents is judgment, discretion, and the ability to read a room. Social intelligence as a protective discipline.

Our team backgrounds span JSOC, USSS protective details, DIA, and federal law enforcement. Combined: over 80 years of operational experience across six continents. None of that is visible on the surface. That's intentional.

"Our people's effectiveness depends on their anonymity. Protecting that is part of how we protect you."

SK1 Founding Principle

Agents are not named or photographed on our public materials. Client programs are never referenced. Credibility is built through our process, our credentials, and the quality of the work, not through marketing that compromises the people doing it.

What we are not

SK1 does not provide guard force services, alarm monitoring, event crowd management, or corporate investigation services for litigation. We do one thing. We do it at a level most firms cannot reach.

Common questions

What clients ask
before they call.

Answers to the questions we hear most often, from principals, executive assistants, and corporate offices considering a first engagement.

For the CFO & executive office
This is not about adding bodyguards. It is about reducing operational risk around key executives, sensitive meetings, travel, public exposure, and high-value decision-makers. SK1 provides discreet executive protection, advance planning, secure transportation coordination, threat awareness, and on-site support so your leadership team can move safely and efficiently without unnecessary disruption. The cost of professional support is small compared to the potential impact of a preventable security incident, travel failure, reputation issue, or executive disruption. We help protect the person, the schedule, the brand, and the business continuity behind them.
Yes. SK1 is accustomed to working around confidential information, sensitive executive movements, private residences, corporate meetings, and proprietary business matters. Our agents can sign a company vendor NDA when required, subject to review of the terms. We also expect our personnel to operate with discretion regardless of whether a separate NDA is in place. Confidentiality is not an add-on for us. It is part of the service.
SK1 handles expenses in a clear and organized manner based on your company's requirements. Common reimbursable expenses may include rental vehicles, fuel, parking, tolls, airfare, lodging, meals and per diem, and other assignment-related costs approved in advance. For travel, we generally default to U.S. Government per diem rates unless the client has a different policy. We can provide invoices with supporting documentation, receipts, project codes, dates worked, and expense summaries when required. Our mindset is simple: we try to save money as if your company is our company. We do not treat travel expenses as a profit center. When possible, we clarify expected costs before the assignment so there are no surprises after the fact.
The minimum engagement depends on the assignment, location, risk profile, and staffing requirements. For most executive protection or secure transportation support, SK1 typically works in half-day, full-day, or multi-day blocks. In the Seattle area, we generally have a five-hour minimum. Some assignments may require a longer minimum due to travel time, preparation, advance work, or agent availability. For recurring support, travel coverage, or higher-risk situations, we will recommend a structure that makes operational and financial sense without overstaffing the request. The easiest way to determine the right minimum is to tell us the executive's general schedule, location, and concern. From there, we can provide a practical recommendation.
Operations & logistics
Our agents dress to match the environment. For a board dinner, private event, or executive function, our agent will typically wear business professional or business casual attire depending on the venue and your preference. The goal is to blend in, support the executive, and avoid drawing unnecessary attention. We do not send agents who look overly tactical, aggressive, or out of place unless the assignment specifically requires a more visible security posture. Most of our work is designed to be discreet, polished, and appropriate for high-level corporate environments.
That is part of why clients hire us. Executive schedules change. Flights delay, meetings move, hotels change, and principals make last-minute decisions. SK1 plans for that from the start. If travel changes at midnight, we reassess the movement plan, update transportation and arrival logistics, adjust staffing if needed, and keep the right people informed without creating unnecessary noise for the executive or EA. In most cases, we have already planned for the schedule to shift before you even tell us. Our job is to absorb the chaos, so your team does not have to.
That is common, and it is where SK1 thrives. Many executives, spouses, and family members do not want security because they think it will restrict them, draw attention, or interrupt their day. Our job is to reduce risk without taking over their life. You should not be a prisoner of your own security. Security does not always mean black SUVs, agents at the front door, or a visible detail. Sometimes the better answer is a low-profile EP team, proper advance work, secure transportation, a normal vehicle, parking like a normal person, protective intelligence products, executive travel monitoring, or a response plan in the background. We start with the executive's intent, concerns, routine, and pain points. Then we build a security model that fits the person and the situation. Security should be a pleasure, not a burden.
The bigger picture
The current sociopolitical landscape is increasing the need for executive protection, travel monitoring, and protective intelligence. Companies should be asking hard questions: what happens to the business if the CEO is injured, kidnapped, exploited, tracked, publicly confronted, or targeted during a merger or acquisition? What does the executive's pattern of life show the outside world? What are you showing shareholders, employees, competitors, activists, or threat actors? How siloed is your current security program? SK1 helps clients connect physical security, travel, digital threats, protective intelligence, and executive support into one coherent security model, because the threats rarely arrive through only one door.
Larger firms staff for volume. We staff for fit. Every agent who touches your account has been selected for the specific environment, briefed on the specific principal, and held to a standard that goes well beyond physical capability. We believe regular client check-ins for feedback matter. We want to know what is working, what is not, and where we can improve. Small things matter: timing, communication, vehicle placement, arrivals, departures, and how agents interact with the executive, family, and staff. People often do not realize security is the problem solver working behind the scenes. That is exactly where we want to be.
